How to judge whether the pot soil of half-branch lotus is dry

How to judge whether the pot soil of half-branch lotus is dry

Whether the potted flowers have dried up can be judged from the following aspects

Visual inspection

Observe the color of the surface of the potting soil with your eyes. If the color is grayish white, it means that the potting soil is dry and needs watering; if the surface soil is still dark, it means that the potting soil is moist and no watering is needed.

Percussion

Use your finger joints or a wooden stick to gently tap the upper wall of the clay pot. If the sound is crisp, it means the soil in the pot is dry and needs to be watered immediately; if the sound is dull, it means the soil in the pot is moist and does not need watering.

Finger test

Gently insert your finger into the soil in the pot 3 to 4 cm. If it feels dry or rough and hard, it means the soil in the pot is dry and needs watering. If it feels moist, you do not need to water it for the time being.

Plant condition judgment method

If the branches and leaves of flowers wilt and droop, they need to be watered immediately.
