How to water white orchids

How to water white orchids

Tips before watering

The roots of white jasmine are fleshy, so excessive watering can easily lead to root rot, while too little water will cause the roots to wither.

Specific measures for watering

Spring is the budding period of white orchids. Water them every 2-3 days to ensure that the soil in the pot is moist.

Summer is the peak growth period for white orchids, so they should be watered every morning and evening. However, in heavy rain or continuous rainy weather, the accumulated water in the pot should be dealt with in time.

In autumn, the transpiration of the plant begins to decrease, and the evaporation of water becomes less. At this time, the amount of watering should be determined according to the specific dryness and wetness of the potting soil. When the surface of the potting soil turns white, it indicates that watering is needed. Usually, watering can be done once every 5 days or so.

White jasmine requires very little water in winter, and the potting soil of the white jasmine should be prevented from being overly moist and waterlogged. If water accumulates at the roots, the flowers and leaves will turn red and the tips will turn brown. The accumulated water should be poured out as soon as possible, and the soil should be loosened and ventilation should be strengthened. Usually, water should be applied once every 10 days or so to keep the potting soil slightly moist.

It seems that flowers, like people, also have a lot of requirements on when to "drink water". Don't do things like "forcing the growth of seedlings" and turn the originally beautiful and holy flowers into complete "water imports".
