How to make lotus seeds bloom

How to make lotus seeds bloom

Opening method

Method 1

Find the end that needs to be opened, which is the end with a rounder seed and a small needle hole.

Take out the pliers prepared in advance, use the pliers directly, place the water lily seeds on the pliers mouth, apply force until you see them slightly cracked, then release the force. Do not use too much force to crack the seeds. Peel it with your hands if the skin is slightly broken.

Method 2

Grinding: pure grinding. Grind it on the cement floor or magic stone to remove the outer dark brown layer.

Method 3

Soak directly in water and place in warm water, making sure the water covers the seeds.

After the seeds have been soaked for a day or two, and they feel soft, you can peel them directly with your hands.

Method 4

If conditions permit, you can directly use nail clippers or something similar to drill holes.

Precautions

Never bite it with your teeth, as that will only test the hardness of your teeth and it is not worth it to try to stop a rock with an egg.

After using each method to open the hole, do not remove all of the hard shell, but leave one third.
