Is it good to keep Impatiens at home? Why can't I keep it alive?

1. Is it good to keep Impatiens at home?

Impatiens is suitable for growing at home. Although it is a poisonous plant, it will not cause harm to us as long as people do not eat it or consume it indiscriminately. Moreover, the plant is small and cute, the flowers are brightly colored and beautifully shaped when they bloom, which is very attractive. It has a high ornamental value, can add to the atmosphere of the home, and is very good to keep at home. However, when growing it at home, you must provide an environment that is conducive to growth. If the environment is not suitable, the plant will find it difficult to survive and will not bloom.

2. Why can't Impatiens survive?

1. Lack of light: Although Impatiens has strong adaptability, if it is placed in a dark place for a long time when caring for it at home, the plant will be difficult to grow and difficult to keep alive without seeing the light. It likes light and should be placed in a well-lit place, with at least four hours of sunlight a day, so that it can maintain normal growth and flowering.

2. Too much watering: If you water the Impatiens frequently during maintenance, water will accumulate in the soil in the pot, which will make its roots and rhizomes rot easily and make it difficult for the plant to survive. It is drought-resistant but not waterlogged, and it cannot survive if there is too much water and waterlogging. Watering should be reduced and the plants should be ventilated more often. The soil should be moist during the growing season, but water should not accumulate. Only in such a soil environment can the plants grow vigorously.
