How do apple seeds germinate? The process of seed germination and growth

Apple seed germination method

The first step is to take out the apple seeds, rinse them with clean water, and place them in a dry place to dry. Place 3 or 4 layers of soaked paper towels on the bottom of the prepared container, spread the apple seeds evenly on the paper towels, and place another layer of paper towels on top of the seeds.

The second step is to move the container with the seeds to a warm environment. During this period, spray water into the seed container every day to ensure that the environment around the seeds is moist. The seeds will germinate after about 3 days.

Step 3 : Take out the apple seeds, clean them, and sow them in moist soil. Then spread a thin layer of soil on the seeds and move them to a sunny and well-ventilated place. Keep the temperature at 20-25℃, and water them twice a day to ensure the soil is moist. You will see the apple seeds sprout in about 7 days.

Soak the apple seeds in warm water for about 3 days, and you can see small white sprouts emerging from the tip of the apple seeds. After the apple seeds are planted in the soil, you can see two small green sprouts breaking out of the soil in about a week, and then the stem slowly elongates, and the apple seedling gradually grows taller.

It takes at least three years for apple seeds to germinate and bear fruit, and about five years to enter the peak fruit-yielding period. The specific harvest time varies depending on the maintenance and management level and apple variety.
