What types of grapes are there and what are the common types?

1. Red Grape

It is also called late red, red grape, red globe, etc., and belongs to the Eurasian species. When the fruit trees are ripe, the clusters are large, with an average single-fruit weight of about 10 grams and the largest reaching 13 grams. The outer skin is purple or red, the peel is medium-thick and easy to peel off. It tastes tender and juicy, and the meat is firm and crispy. It matures in late September every year.

2. Black Grape

It is also a Eurasian species native to the United States. Its fruit clusters are oblong-conical, with an average ear weight of 500-700 grams and a grain weight of 8-10 grams. The skin is thick and bluish black. It tastes sweet and sour. It is relatively resistant to transportation and storage.

3. Gold Finger

It is a hybrid variety between Europe and America, with huge, oblong-conical clusters and an average cluster weight of 750 grams. The fruit is oblong in shape and the skin is yellowish white in color. The average kernel weight is about 8 grams. The peel is medium-thick, tough and not prone to cracking. It usually matures in late July every year.

4. Green Grapes

It is also called seedless white chicken heart. It belongs to the Eurasian species. Its origin is in California, USA. It is now widely cultivated in northern my country, especially in the northwest, North China and the southern part of the northeast. Its advantages are resistance to transportation, high yield and excellent fruit quality.

5. Summer Black

Its origin is in Japan and it is a descendant of Kyoho. It matures around July every year and is an early-maturing variety. It has a strong aroma, moderate hardness, is seedless, has a strong sweetness, low sourness and a good taste.
