The cultivation methods and precautions of flower chives

The cultivation methods and precautions of flower chives

1. Maintenance methods

1. Substrate selection: The soil requirements are relatively good air permeability and drainage. It is best to use a mixture of perlite and peat soil, which is rich in nutrients and very helpful for plant growth.

2. Light management: Flower leek likes an environment with plenty of sunlight, but the time in the sun should not be too long. It should not be exposed to the sun during the high temperatures in summer. It should be chosen in a place sheltered from the wind.

3. Nutrient management: Use cake fertilizer as the most basic chemical fertilizer, and then mix it with some bone meal. When it is almost time for flowering, add phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to promote the formation of flower buds.

4. Water management: Flowering allium can tolerate cold and drought, so it does not need excessive watering. It should be watered according to the dryness and wetness of the soil. Watering should be appropriate. It should not be exposed to rain or water accumulation in the outdoor environment, which is not conducive to the growth of the plant.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Planting: Planting can be carried out in autumn. Dig holes and plant the flowers in them. After the flowers have withered, fertilize them normally. Make sure to plant in a well-ventilated place.

2. Summering: Flower chives cannot be planted when the temperature is high in summer, as they will enter a dormant period in summer. When entering the dormant period, do not overwater and should keep it appropriately dry.
