Hawaiian bamboo is not actually bamboo per se, but a type of coconut. It is actually normal for it to bloom. If it is properly maintained, it will bloom every year. After flowering, it will produce fruits. Although they are not edible, they still have certain ornamental value.

2. How to promote flowering

1. Proper light: Any plant that wants to bloom cannot do without light, and Hawaiian bamboo is no exception. But it is very afraid of direct sunlight, so it cannot be placed directly in a sunny place and needs to be shaded.

2. Increase the temperature: Hawaiian bamboo is not afraid of cold, but if you want it to bloom, you must maintain a suitable temperature. Usually between 20-30℃, it will grow more vigorously and accumulate nutrients better.
