1. Main features

There are many species of plants in the Saxifragaceae family, with more than eighty genera and more than one thousand two hundred species of plants, among which the genus Saxifragaceae is unique to my country. The main characteristics of Saxifragaceae plants are that they can be exposed and grow in rocks and crevices. They have very strong adaptability, strong root systems that can penetrate deep into the soil, and can also grow in dark and humid places. In order to adapt to the cold and harsh environment, the leaf surface of some varieties will degenerate and the branches will become very short.

1. Saxifraga: Saxifraga is a common plant in the Saxifragaceae family. It is also called tiger ear, golden lotus leaf, stone lotus leaf, etc. The leaf shape is nearly heart-shaped and has a very strong adaptability.

2. Astilbe: Astilbe is also a common representative plant, belonging to the genus Astilbe. It is also called horsetail ginseng, mountain flower seven, small cimicifuga, and shuhuo. It appears as a panicle inflorescence with very rich flower colors.

3. Suona grass: Suona grass belongs to the genus Suona grass of this family. It is a perennial herb with relatively slender rhizomes and racemose flowers. It generally grows in places with thick moss layers under coniferous forests.

4. Other plants: In addition to the above-mentioned ones, there are many more, such as mountain currant, deutzia ovata, astilbe, radix spatholobi, blackcurrant, etc.
