The difference between Jade Lotus and Thousand Buddha Hands

The difference between Jade Lotus and Thousand Buddha Hands

1. Different plant types

The two succulent plants, Jade Orchid and Thousand Buddha's Hand, belong to the same family and look quite similar. If you don't look closely, you can't tell the difference. But after all, they are not the same plants, and there are slight differences between them. The jade lotus is relatively tall, with a height of about 8-25 cm. The nodes are relatively dense and appear vertical.

Thousand Buddha Hands is also called Wang Yuzhulian, so the plant is shorter, about 5-10 cm in height. The upper nodes are relatively sparse and appear to be drooping.

2. Different leaves

The leaves of the jade lotus are relatively small, closely arranged alternately on the stem. The leaves are about 2-3 cm long, with rounded edges and slightly pointed tips. The leaves are a little less in number, white-green in color, and feel powdery.

The leaves of Thousand Buddha's Hand are larger, and it can be seen that they are obviously larger than the former, and the leaves are slightly sharper and not so round.

3. Different flowers

The flowers of the jade lotus are relatively large, deep rose red in color, and bloom in spring from February to March.

The flowers of Thousand Buddha's Hand are small, yellow in color, and bloom in summer.
