How to grow jade plants on the balcony and what should you pay attention to

1. Can it be grown on the balcony?

It is relatively sensitive to light. If the maintenance environment is too shaded and there is no light for a long time, the plant shape will become loose and the branches and leaves will grow too long. If the light is too strong, it will directly burn the leaves, affecting the appearance. Generally, it can be placed on the balcony to provide soft scattered light, depending on the actual situation of the balcony. Reasonable diffuse light can be beneficial to the growth and make the plants strong. Note that strong light should be blocked in summer.

2. How to maintain

1. Watering: Jade plant does not require much water, but it still needs to be watered reasonably during the growth period. Long-term lack of water will cause the leaves to shrivele and the color of the leaves to become dull. Generally, water the plant when the soil is dry, and water it thoroughly at one time.

2. Fertilization: It does not like fertilizer. Spring and autumn are the growing seasons, so you can apply thin fertilizer 2-3 times. No fertilizer is needed during the hot summer months or very cold winter months.

3. Temperature: It cannot withstand the cold in winter, and the temperature must be maintained above 8 degrees. If it is lower than 5 degrees, the plant will be frozen.

4. Humidity: Humidity is also a very important factor in the maintenance process. When the air is dry, you can spray water into the surrounding environment to increase the air humidity.
