How to grow daffodils on the balcony, what should you pay attention to

1. Maintain light

Daffodils love light very much. To ensure good growth, the light they receive must not be less than 4 hours a day. If there is insufficient light, their growth will be restricted. When caring for it at home, you can place it on the balcony and maintain sufficient light stimulation, which is more beneficial for flowering. Pay attention to the high temperature period in summer. When the light is too strong, you can block it reasonably to avoid direct sunlight. The light intensity is lower in winter, so you can be exposed to sunlight all day long, which can not only replenish sunlight but also raise your own temperature.

2. Soil culture and watering

If it is cultivated in soil, it is necessary to water it reasonably to maintain the growth of the bulb. Determine whether there is a lack of water, and then provide an appropriate amount of water support. Be careful not to allow water to accumulate, otherwise it will cause the bulb to rot and affect subsequent growth.

3. Hydroponic water change

For hydroponic daffodils, you need to pay attention to the issue of water change. Change the water once a day in the first two weeks, and then reduce the frequency of water change in the later stage to change the water every 2-3 days. Reasonable water changes can prevent water turbidity and increase fresh nutrients to maintain good later growth.

4. Fertilize regularly

The growth of plants cannot be separated from the application of fertilizers. For soil cultivation and care, fertilizers can be applied regularly, and for water cultivation and care, nutrient solution can be added when changing the water.
