1. Is it easy to raise?

Strelitzia reginae is native to southern Africa and is a subtropical plant. It is suitable to grow in a warm, humid and sunny environment. The climate in the south is mild, which easily meets the conditions for its growth and is relatively easy to grow. But the north is colder and the air is dry, so a warmer environment is needed, and it is better to keep it in a greenhouse.

2. How to maintain

1. Light: Strelitzia needs sufficient light to grow healthily. Direct sunlight should not be less than 4 hours, and it should be placed in a bright place at other times. If the light is particularly strong, you can provide appropriate shade.

2. Temperature: Strelitzia reginae grows best in an environment of 20-28℃. Its growth will be hindered when the summer temperature is above 40℃. If the temperature is below 0℃ in winter, it is easy to get frostbite.

3. Watering: Strelitzia needs sufficient water to grow. During the period from September to February, it needs to be kept properly dry. At other times, keep the soil in the pot moist and water it more frequently, but not too much.

4. Fertilization: The potting soil of Strelitzia requires appropriate base fertilizer, and slow-release fertilizer can be used. Apply fertilizer once a week during the growing season, and add potassium dihydrogen phosphate once a month in the two months before flowering.
