How to grow amaryllis in winter in the north

1. Covering film

If the planting area is relatively large, you can prune the plants before winter comes. In order to prevent the leaves from consuming too much nutrients in winter, you can trim some of the leaves and cover the plants with a thick blanket or film. After covering it, you can sprinkle some soil on the blanket to keep it warm. Remember not to water or fertilize until the weather gets warmer.

2. Indoor potted plants
