Then soak them in clean water and place them in a cool and ventilated place. Change the water every day to ensure the water quality is clean. They will germinate in about a week.

Step 2 : Take out the lemon seeds, clean them, remove the surface film, soak the seeds overnight, and press the pointed end down into the soil. Cover the mouth of the flowerpot with a layer of perforated plastic film to ensure the temperature and humidity in the flowerpot.

Step 3 : Move it to a sunny and well-ventilated place, keep the temperature at 20-28℃, and you will see the lemon seeds breaking through the soil in about 5 days.

Step 4 : After taking out the lemon seeds, clean them, remove the surface film, place them one by one on a wet paper towel, put the seeds and the paper towel into a sealed bag, and place it in a warm, dark place. Keep the temperature at around 22°C, and they will germinate in 1-3 weeks .

After germination, they can be planted in the soil; lemon seeds sown in the soil will sprout green seedlings within a week.

Lemon Seed Planting and Harvesting

Lemon is rich in vitamins and has the effects of promoting salivation, relieving heat, and beautifying the skin. Lemon is suitable for growing in subtropical areas. It usually takes about three years from sowing to fruiting, and reaches peak fruit-bearing period in five years and can be commercialized. However, the growing period of lemons planted in pots at home will be longer due to small space and lack of nutrition.
