When to water gardenia

1. Watering time

The weather is hot in summer and the temperature is relatively high, so watering is best done in the morning and evening. However, it is not advisable to water too much in the morning. It is better to water more after 3 pm. Do not water the plants during the hot noon hours to avoid excessive water temperature that may damage the plant roots. In winter, the temperature is relatively low, so the water supply needs to be reduced. You can irrigate it once before winter comes, so that the plant can survive the winter smoothly. The weather is relatively dry in spring and autumn, so watering can be done every 2 to 3 days.

2. How to water

1. Some people cannot control the amount of watering, so when watering, you can hold a smoking spray bottle and water along the outer edge of the pot soil until water overflows from the bottom of the pot. This means that the pot has been watered thoroughly. But please note that some soils are compacted and water may not be able to enter, so we must observe more when watering.

2. You can use the immersion pot method for watering, which will not cause water stains in the pot, causing the roots of the plants to rot, and can effectively protect the normal growth of the plants. In addition, when watering during the flowering period, try not to pour water on the flowers to avoid causing the flowers to fall.
