1. Substrate selection: General soil can meet the requirements of Ulmus pumila because it has strong adaptability. It likes fertile and well-drained soil, usually a mixture of manure and peat soil.

2. Light management: Elm seeds like plenty of sunlight and must get more than 8 hours of light a day, otherwise they will grow slowly, which is not conducive to the growth of elm seeds.

3. Nutrient management: Elm seeds consume too much nutrients during the critical period of growth and need to be supplemented. Use cake fertilizer once every 15 days or so, and combine it with a certain amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. Using phosphorus and potassium fertilizers once in winter can provide the elm tree with cold resistance and help it survive the winter smoothly.

4. Water management: Elm seeds do not like a humid environment. In summer, the temperature is high and water cannot be given at will. Slightly dry soil is conducive to the growth of the plant. Too high humidity will cause root rot.
