Brazilian beauty breeding methods and precautions

Brazilian beauty breeding methods and precautions

1. Soil

When growing flower plants, it is best to choose loose and fertile soil with good drainage and air permeability. Brazilian beauty likes acidic soil. When preparing the flower, flower lovers can use leaf mold, river sand and organic fertilizer.

2. Watering

Spring and summer are its vigorous growth stages. At this time, you should water it every two days or so. Because its leaves are relatively wide, you should also spray water on the leaves every day. In autumn, you should reduce the amount of watering appropriately, as long as the soil in the pot is moist.

3. Lighting

Adequate sunlight is the guarantee for its healthy growth, but in summer it is necessary to protect it from strong sunlight to prevent sunburn on its leaves. If the light is too strong, the color of its leaves will fade. Try to let it receive sunlight in winter. When it is kept indoors, it can be exposed to direct sunlight when the weather is good.

IV. Precautions

The amount of watering for Brazilian Beauty should be greatly reduced in winter. It grows slowly in winter. If there is too much water, it cannot absorb it and water will accumulate, which will easily cause root rot. When cultivating it, try to keep the air circulating in its growth environment, which can effectively alleviate the occurrence of diseases and pests. After diseases and pests occur, its leaves will have spots or even die.
