Hibiscus cultivation methods and precautions

Hibiscus cultivation methods and precautions

1. Soil

Hibiscus has a strong ability to adapt to its growing environment, so its requirements for cultivation soil are very low, and it can grow well even in relatively poor soil. However, it is best to use loose soil that is more fertile, which is more conducive to the development of the plant's root system and will make it grow faster.

2. Sunlight

It prefers sunlight, but can also grow in a semi-shaded environment. During the cultivation period, it is best to give the plant sufficient light and it is better to see the sun as much as possible. However, when the sunlight is strong, you must pay attention to shade and avoid exposing the plants to too strong sunlight.

3. Water

Hibiscus likes to grow in a humid environment, so it should be replenished with water in time. When the air is dry, it should be watered more appropriately, but the amount of water should be controlled and not too much. It is also very afraid of waterlogging, so excess water must be drained out in time and there should be no water accumulation in the pot.

IV. Precautions

During the cultivation period, hibiscus will be attacked by diseases and insects from time to time, so preventive work should be done in daily life. Opening windows more often and ensuring adequate ventilation in the breeding environment can effectively prevent the disease. Once pests and diseases are discovered, the diseased branches should be cut off and burned, and then sprayed with appropriate medicines.
