Cultivation methods and precautions of Hibiscus

1. Watering

During the growth stage of Hibiscus, sufficient water should be ensured, and water should be given immediately if the plant is found to be lacking water. During the spring budding period and the autumn dry season, you should water it more often to keep the soil slightly moist. But when the temperature drops in autumn, you need to control water.

2. Sunlight

It is suitable for growing in places with light and is extremely afraid of cold, so it should be placed in a sunny place for maintenance. If the sunlight is too weak, the plant's growth will slow down, the branches will grow too long, and flowering will be affected. In the hot summer, shading should be done, otherwise the plants will easily be sunburned.

3. Fertilization

The plant needs an appropriate amount of nutrients to maintain during its growth period. Appropriate fertilization before it blooms will help it bloom better, mainly applying some phosphorus fertilizer. However, the amount of fertilizer should be controlled and not too much fertilizer should be applied. Large amounts of fertilizer will damage the root system of the plant and affect its growth.

IV. Precautions

During its growth period, yellow leaves, diseased leaves and other phenomena may appear due to improper maintenance methods. Once discovered, they should be pruned in time. This will not only save nutrients in the potting soil, but also make it more ornamental. In addition, attention should be paid to proper ventilation during maintenance, otherwise the stuffy environment will easily attract pests.
