How to grow Kalanchoe and when does it bloom?

How to grow Kalanchoe and when does it bloom?

1. Breeding methods

1. Soil: When you first start planting, you can mix leaf mold and garden soil. The soil prepared in this way has good air permeability and is not easy to produce excess water. Secondly, the plant will grow better in acidic soil because slightly acidic soil is very conducive to the growth of its roots.

2. Watering: It does not need too much water during breeding, because it has a certain water storage capacity. Therefore, it is only necessary to keep the cultivation soil slightly moist during breeding. Usually, watering once every 3 days will be enough. In winter, the amount of watering should be less and the interval time should be extended to a certain extent.

3. Light: The light requirement is relatively high. Try to keep it under sunlight all day when breeding. Even in hot weather like summer, it should be placed in a semi-shaded place and not be exposed to the sun. If the branches and leaves become small, it is due to lack of light. In severe cases, the leaves may even fall off.

4. Temperature: 20℃-25℃ is the most suitable temperature for its growth, but problems will arise below 10℃ and above 30℃. The same is true in winter. If you want it to grow normally in winter, it is best to move it indoors.

2. Flowering period

Everyone knows that it is called Kalanchoe, so its flowering period must be long. From December of each year to April or May of the following year, this period is its flowering period. Reasonable maintenance during this period can extend the flowering time.
