Cultivation methods and precautions of Yushu

1. Potting soil

When growing jade plants, you should use plastic pots, porcelain pots, ceramic pots, etc., and the size of the pots should be appropriate. The soil requirements are looseness and good drainage. Do not use sticky soil for cultivation.

2. Water

During the maintenance process, the soil should be kept slightly moist and do not water too much. If there is water accumulation, the roots will easily rot. In summer, you can water more. When the plant is in a dormant state, you should control the amount of watering and keep the soil in the pot from being too dry.

3. Lighting

Normally, it should be allowed to receive sufficient diffuse light, and be careful not to be exposed to direct sunlight, so pay attention to shading in summer. You can keep it in the sun in winter because the light is not very strong and will not get sunburned.

4. Fertilization

Fertilize regularly during its growth period, and apply some base fertilizer when repotting. After the plants sprout, fertilize once a month, mainly applying a little nitrogen fertilizer, and the concentration of the fertilizer should be low. In summer and winter, you can stop fertilizing.
