Cultivation methods and precautions of couple crabapple

Cultivation methods and precautions of couple crabapple

1. Soil preparation

The cultivation soil requirement for the couple crabapple is loose and breathable, and it can be cultivated in plain sandy soil. When preparing the soil yourself, you can evenly mix peat soil and sandy soil in a ratio of 2:1. In addition, the soil drainage must be good enough, otherwise, the plants may suffer from root rot due to poor soil drainage.

2. Sunlight

The maintenance environment must be able to see sunlight. The plant needs appropriate light to grow normally and cannot be placed in a too dark location. The sunlight in midsummer can be very strong, so be sure to take appropriate shading measures and open doors and windows more often. Otherwise, the hot and humid environment is not conducive to its growth and development.

3. Water

Always pay attention to the moisture of the potting soil. If it is moist, there is no need to add water to avoid water accumulation in the planting soil. When the weather is dry, use a spray bottle to spray water on the leaves and around them to increase the humidity of the culture. Water needs to be controlled during the rainy season and winter. When growing outdoors, pay attention to sheltering from rain and drain the water in time after rain.

IV. Precautions

The pot should be changed once every year because the nutrients in the soil will be lost as the plant grows. If it is not replaced in time, its growth will be hindered to a certain extent. Note that when repotting, all crossing branches and weak branches need to be pruned off.
