1. Time: Spring and autumn are more suitable. Spring is generally from March to May, and autumn is in October. The scion can affect the possibility of survival. Choose disease-free and high-quality mother plants, cut 2-3 year old branches, and maintain the quality as much as possible.

2. Embedding: Bring the branches closer and determine the appropriate position. The cross sections are cut out at these two places, and the inclined surface is oval in shape and 3-5 cm in length. Insert the branches along the way, making them fit as closely as possible, otherwise it will affect the future, and then wrap them tightly with tape or plastic bags.

3. Note: After grafting, if branches sprout from the lower part of the rootstock interface, they should be removed in time. After they take root, the branches will grow relatively fast, and the things used for binding will easily get embedded in them, so they should be loosened immediately.

In the south, it is often grafted with Ligustrum lucidum and Fraxinus chinensis, while in the north, it is often grafted with Tasselia ovata. If you want to graft fruit trees, you can choose olive trees because they belong to the same plant family.
