1. The difference between the two

2. Blades


Their leaves are leathery, oblong in shape at first and become elliptical in the later stage. They are about 6-12 cm long and 3.5-6 cm wide, with obtuse or acute tips, nearly circular bases, slightly rough on the upper side and hairy on the lower side. It has 12-15 pairs of lateral veins, which are usually sunken, and the reticulate veins are more obvious.

3. Flowers

When blooming, there will be 2-3 flowers arranged in cymes or solitary, the calyx tube is bell-shaped, the calyx cap is nearly round, it cracks irregularly, and the petals are white.

4. Fruit

The fruit is a berry, spherical, pear-shaped or oval in shape, about 3-8 cm long, with persistent sepals at the top. Its flesh is yellow or white, the placenta is fleshy and light red, and the number of seeds is large.
