1. Difference of blades

The leaves of Monstera are large, heart-shaped and ovate in outline, about 40-60 cm wide, thick and leathery, shiny on the surface, light green in color, green-white on the back, and pinnately divided on the edges. Its petioles are green, usually up to 1 meter long, and arranged in an imbricate pattern.

The leaves of the weeping angel are sub-leathery, arrow-shaped and oval, grass green in color, and wider than the former. Its petioles are green or dirty purple and arranged in a spiral shape.

2. The difference between flowers

The inflorescence stalk of Monstera is about 15-30 cm long and green. The spathe is broadly oval, pale yellow. Its inflorescence is a spadix that is nearly cylindrical and light yellow. The flowering period is from August to September.

The inflorescence stalk of the weeping angel plant grows in clusters of 2-3, is green or dirty purple, and the spathe is ovate or short elliptical. It is yellow-green or green-white when blooming, and turns yellow or white when withering. It is also a spadix, the female inflorescence is white and the male inflorescence is light yellow. Flowering season is four seasons.
