1. BladesThe leaves of the Chinese phoenix are elliptical at first and grow to oblanceolate later. The apex is acute or acuminate, the base is wedge-shaped, about 7-15 cm long and 2-4 cm wide, with wavy teeth on the edges and obvious marginal glandular dots, and are glabrous on both sides. There are 12-18 pairs of lateral veins, forming irregular marginal veins, and the petiole is about 1 cm long. 2. FlowersThe flowers of the rich tree are umbels or cymes, growing at the top of special flower branches on the side branches. The petals are white, with fewer having a slight pink tint. They curl up in an oval shape when in bloom. The flowering period is from May to June. 3. FruitThe fruit of the Pleurotus eryngii is spherical, about 6-8 mm in diameter, bright red in color, and has glandular dots. The fruiting period is from October to December, sometimes from February to April. |
