What should I do if the lucky tree keeps losing leaves in spring?

1. See the Sun

Reason: It is a plant that likes sunlight, but it can also tolerate some shade. However, it does not mean that it can be placed in a dark place for a long time. If this is the case, it will easily cause leaves to fall off.

Solution: The spring sunshine is very gentle, so you need to place it under the sun for maintenance and let it receive as much sunlight as possible. When growing indoors, you should move it to a sunny location every few days.

2. Water less

Reason: In spring, it will need some water to maintain growth, but it does not need too much watering. Too much water will cause waterlogging and root rot, which will cause the leaves to fall off.

Solution: It is best to move it to a ventilated place as soon as possible to allow the accumulated water to evaporate as quickly as possible. If the situation is serious, it needs to be removed from the pot and replanted after trimming off the rotten roots.

3. Apply some fertilizer

Reason: If you want it to grow healthily, it needs sufficient nutrients. So if you don’t fertilize it in spring, the plant will wither and lose leaves.

Solution: Fertilizer should be applied regularly in spring, about once a month. However, you cannot apply too much fertilizer at once. You should add nutrients gradually. If you apply too much fertilizer at once, the plant will not be able to absorb it.
