The difference between low snow wheels and high snow wheels

The difference between low snow wheels and high snow wheels

1. Differences in stems

The dwarf snow wheel plant is about 30 cm tall, with many branches, and the stem tilts outward from the base in a semi-creeping state. The tall Xuelun plant can reach a height of about 50 cm, with a relatively upright stem and branches at the top.

2. Difference of blades

The leaves of dwarf snow wheel are opposite, narrowly elliptical or ovate-lanceolate. The basal leaves of the Alpinia schefflera are spoon-shaped, and the stem leaves are ovate-cordate to lanceolate.

3. The difference between flowers

The dwarf snow wheel has a cyme inflorescence, which is axillary, and the petals are inverted heart-shaped and usually pink. It is also cultivated and has many flower colors, including white, lavender, rose, etc. The calyx tube is relatively swollen and long, with purple-red veins on it. The high snow wheel has a compound cyme inflorescence, the petals are obovate and light pink in color, and the calyx is tubular and rod-shaped with purple.
