The difference between Silent Night and Captain Licorice

The difference between Silent Night and Captain Licorice

1. The difference between leaves

The leaf tip of the Night Shade plant slowly slopes upward from the front of the leaf. Normally, the leaf tip will be red, and occasionally the red tip will disappear. When in good condition, the edge of the leaf will be red, and there will be an inconspicuous ridge in the middle of the back of the leaf.

The leaves of the licorice skipper will be thicker and wider. The front end of the leaf is wide and then becomes pointed at the tip, which looks more like a widow's peak. There is an obvious red halo behind the tip of the leaf. In normal growth conditions, the tip and edges of the leaf will be red, and even the ridges on the back of the leaf will turn red, and the ridges will be obvious.

2. The difference between petals

The flowers of Silent Night spread vertically upward, are almost the same size, and are yellow in color with red ridges and tips. The Licorice Captain's flower, on the other hand, is more orange in color.
