Why are the leaves of the green radish curling?

Why are the leaves of the green radish curling?

1. Insufficient light

Reason: The green ivy itself prefers a semi-shady environment. However, long-term absence of light is not good for its growth and will cause the leaves to curl.

Solution: Move the green radish to a place with diffuse light. If the light is not too strong, you can also place it in a sunny place. Generally, it can be placed in the sun in the early morning or evening, and in a cool place at noon.

2. Air Drying

Reason: Dry air can cause the leaves of the green radish to lose water. If you don't water it in time, the leaves will easily curl.

Solution: Spray water on the leaves every noon. In hot seasons, you can spray it more often. The water quality must be good, and tap water needs to be aired for a few days before use.

3. Too much watering

Reason: Too much watering will make it difficult for the aerial roots to breathe. This can cause root rot and leaf curling.

Solution: If excessive watering causes water accumulation, pay attention to drainage. The soil in the pot should not be too moist, you can loosen the soil appropriately to make it dry. In addition, check the roots regularly to see if there is any rot. If so, cut off the rotten roots and replant with slightly drier soil.

4. Pests and diseases

Reason: Pests that feed on the juice of the green radish can easily cause it to grow poorly and cause the leaves to curl.

Solution: Common pests include red spiders, mites, etc., which need to be wiped off with a damp cloth, but be careful not to damage the branches and leaves. In addition, the plants should be sprayed with pesticides to kill the larvae.
