How to breed the firefly

How to breed the firefly

1. Soil

It is best to use loose, humus-rich sandy soil to grow firefly. It does not have high requirements for soil, and you can also find some loose soil to grow it.

2. Watering

It is very dry, so you don't need to water it too frequently. You need to water it in moderation. You can water it more often in summer, maybe once every five days. In winter, it will enter a dormant period. It is best to water it once every 1-2 months. If you water it too much, water will accumulate in the pot soil and cause root rot.

3. Lighting

Too strong light will cause the plant to turn yellow, so it is necessary to provide shade in the summer. It can receive sufficient light in the winter. It is best to keep it indoors in the winter, as close to the sun as possible on a windowsill.

4. Fertilization

Appropriate fertilization is more beneficial to its growth. Nitrogen fertilizer should be applied once a month during the growth stage of the fireweed. The fertilizer concentration should not be too high, otherwise it will easily cause root rot due to fertilizer damage.
