Dragon bone flower soil maintenance

1. If there are insects in the soil of the dragon bone flower, you can use DDT 1:2 mixed with water for atomization fumigation. Add 1 ml of the original solution per cubic meter and use it once every 5-7 days. The doors and windows must be closed during fumigation. 2.5% cypermethrin 2000 times solution has a good effect.

2. The best time to change the soil of dragon bone flower is spring, summer and autumn. It is a cold-fearing plant. Except winter, the other three seasons are suitable for changing the soil. It is better to change the soil of dragon bone flower once every one or two years. Because dragon bone flower grows very fast, it is necessary to change the potting soil and apply base fertilizer in time.

3. It is okay to put wood ash in the soil of dragon bone flower. Wood ash is mainly potassium fertilizer. Potassium fertilizer is mainly used to make the roots, stems and fruits swell, but don’t put too much.

4. Eggshells can be added to the soil of the dragon bone flower, but the eggshells cannot be put directly into the flowerpot. They must be exposed to the sun for two or three days, and then the eggshells must be crushed, washed and dried before they can be put into the soil.
