How to cultivate white orchid

How to cultivate white orchid

1. Potting soil

It is best to use soil with good air permeability and a certain degree of looseness when growing white orchid.

2. Watering

Water in moderation, not too much or too little. Too much watering may cause water accumulation, which can lead to root rot or even death. Watering should not be too frequent. When the temperature is high, you can spray water into the air or around. During the rainy season, drain the accumulated water in the potting soil in time to avoid root rot.

3. Temperature

White jasmine is easily affected by cold, so warming measures should be taken in winter or when the temperature is too low. It is best to keep it indoors in winter, and the minimum temperature should not be lower than 5°C; cooling measures should be taken in hot summer weather. When the sunlight is strong, it can be placed in a place with scattered light.

4. Lighting

If you want it to grow better, it needs sunlight, especially during the flowering period. If you keep it in a cool place for a long time, it will not bloom or the flowering period will be very short and dull, which is not good for its growth and development. You should also avoid direct sunlight in summer. You can spray water around or on the ground to increase the humidity in the air.

5. Fertilization

During the flowering period of white jasmine, there must be sufficient fertilizer. If there is a lack of nutrients, the amount of flowers will be very small. Too much or too little fertilizer will cause the flowers to not bloom lushly and the branches and leaves to grow too long. Stop fertilizing about half a month before winter.
