The difference between jade ornaments and new jade ornaments

The difference between jade ornaments and new jade ornaments

1. Different appearance

1. Jade ornaments

Jade sedum is a plant belonging to the Crassulaceae family. It was originally produced in Mexico and its name originally came from Japan. Its leaf shape is lanceolate and curved, and looks especially like a banana. The leaves are green in color, slightly transparent, and covered with a layer of powder, giving a tender feeling. In addition, its pedicels grow out from the leaf axils in front of the branches. One pedicel represents a flower. The shape of the flower is like a clock, and the color is pink, which is very unique. In its appearance, the above features can be clearly seen.

2. New Jade Ornaments

If we observe carefully and compare it with the jade ornament, we can find that its leaves are not curved, the ends of the leaves are round, the leaf color is white-green and slightly pink. As the leaves grow into strings like beads, the color becomes slightly orange-yellow, so in terms of leaves, there are still big differences between them. In addition, on the flower, the filaments of the new jade are pink, the anthers are light yellow, the nectar scales are relatively wide, the top is slightly concave, and the color is pink. Its petals are about 7 to 8 mm long, with dark pink irregular linear patterns on them, which is also different from the jade pendant. So when compared like this, they are indeed easy to identify in appearance.

2. The time of naming is different

1. Jade ornaments

Jade pendant is a primitive species, originally produced in Mexico and Honduras. It was named in 1930. It also has a Latin name. The reason for this name is mainly for a great man.

2. New Jade Ornaments

Although the new jade charm was also discovered in Mexico, it was not named earlier than the jade charm. It was not named until 1977. A long time ago, many people felt that the new jade charm was a variant of the jade charm, but there was not much data to prove it, so it was still generally believed to be just a primitive species.
