Cultivation methods and precautions of Anemone

Cultivation methods and precautions of Anemone

Nutrient requirements

You can replenish nutrients about every half a month, and the concentration of fertilizer should be light rather than strong. You can increase the frequency of fertilization from February to March of the following spring, which is very beneficial for flowering in March. After the elegant small flowers bloom, fertilize once a week, which can prolong the flowering time and continuously bloom new flowers. This fertilization method can be extended until the end of the flowering period.

Pest and disease control

It begins to be susceptible to diseases and pests from March to April, so management must be strengthened during this period; after flowering, around June, the plant will wither along with all the flowers, so if it is grown outdoors, it must be protected from rain.

Winter breeding methods and precautions

It should be moved indoors in winter. If the temperature is maintained above 5 degrees, it can continue to grow and bloom early. However, watering is very important at this time. The temperature is lower, so the demand for water is not high. The soil must not be too moist at this time, otherwise the plant will easily rot. Water it about once every 3 days. Watering can also be done according to the temperature. The lower the temperature, the less watering is needed.

Harvesting and storage

After June every year, when all the flowers have withered, the plants can be dug out, the roots can be dried and stored for later use.
