Homemade Vegetable Insecticide Recipe

1. Pepper water

Spray it evenly to prevent and control aphids, whiteflies , scale insects, etc.

2. Onion water

Onion water has a strong pungent taste and can prevent and control a variety of pests. Take 2 taels of onion, add 1 kilogram of water, mash it into a paste, then filter it and spray it on places where there are insects, regardless of the front and back of the leaves. It can prevent and control pests such as aphids, leaf miners, and red spiders.

3. Pepper water

Look for hot peppers that are strong in flavor; the hotter the better. Use 100 grams of chili pepper, chop it into small pieces, the smaller the better, add 2 kilograms of water, put it in a pot and boil it, let it soak for a while, wait until it is completely cool, filter it, and then dilute it with 3-5 times the water and spray it to prevent and control red spider mites, aphids, leaf heartworms, etc.

4. Wood ash water

Add 1 kg of wood ash to 5 kg of water, soak it for one day, filter it, and spray it to prevent and control a variety of vegetable pests. You can also sprinkle dry wood ash on vegetable leaves to prevent insects. Regularly spreading wood ash on onions, leeks and garlic can not only prevent pests but also increase yield.

5. Soap liquid

Dissolve soap liquid and hot water in a ratio of 1:50 and spray it. Soap can block the respiratory organs of pests and cause their death. It is effective against aphids and scale insects.

6. Tobacco liquid

Take 20 grams of tobacco powder or shredded tobacco, add 500 grams of water, soak for 24 hours, then filter, add 500 grams of 2% soapy water to the filtrate, and spray it on the infested leaves; you can also spray the filtrate directly on the potting soil and around the bottom of the pot without adding soapy water to kill pests in the soil.

7. Washing powder water

Take 2 grams of laundry detergent, add 500 grams of water and stir to make a solution, add a drop of cleaning oil, and spray on the insects on the plants. It can kill aphids, scale insects, red spiders, louse moths, white butterflies, whiteflies, etc.

8. Tea seed cake water

Crush the tea seed cake, add 5 kg of warm water to 1 kg of tea seed cake and soak it for 24 hours, then filter it, add 10 times of clean water to dilute it and spray it to prevent and control pests such as snails and aphids. Mix it with organic fertilizer as base fertilizer to prevent and control underground pests.
