The difference between Succulent First Love and Hazy Moon

The difference between Succulent First Love and Hazy Moon

Different origins:

The plant of the nebula originally grew in Mexico; while the first love is from the UK.

Differences in reproduction:

Longyue can be propagated by cuttings, mainly branch cuttings and leaf cuttings; while Chulian is propagated by leaf cuttings and beheading.

Differences in appearance:

Although both of these succulents have a shape similar to a blooming lotus, there are subtle differences in color, which is also their most obvious difference. The leaves of the Moonflower are fleshy and full, and appear gray-green or gray-blue in color, but will slowly turn into light purple or light pink under sufficient sunlight.

The leaves of First Love are not as full as those of Long Moon. Its surface is covered with a layer of white powder. The color it presents is different under different lighting conditions. If it is grown outdoors, it will appear pink, sometimes with a little orange-yellow. If it is grown indoors for a long time, it will appear blue-green.

The difference of flowers:

If they are in bloom, they are very easy to distinguish. The flowers of the Halo Moon have 5 petals and are milky white in color. Although the flower of first love also has 5 petals, its color is light yellow. The difference between them is huge in flowers.

The above is the difference between the two succulents, but First Love is easier to maintain than Long Moon. Novice succulent lovers who like this type of succulent can start with First Love!
