Difference Between Plantain and Banana

Appearance Difference

The first thing to distinguish the two is their appearance. Bananas are usually shaped like a crescent, and the fruit is shorter, with edges and corners on the skin, usually five or six. As for plantain, its fruit is longer than banana. It is usually narrow at both ends and wide in the middle, appearing to be relatively large.
