Money tree, also known as taro, is a perennial evergreen herb. Many friends have raised this plant. Its root system is as strong as potatoes. Today, I will share how to water the money tree in winter.

How often should the money tree be watered in winter?

Money tree likes warm and humid environment, and grows best at 25 to 30 degrees. It does not require much from the pot soil, but it is best not to be waterlogged and well ventilated. It is afraid of high temperature and direct exposure, and is easily sunburned. It is afraid of severe cold in winter, so it is recommended to keep the winter temperature above 10 degrees.

In autumn and winter, the temperature of money tree is generally higher than 10 degrees. In the floor heating room, you should pay attention to prevent it from drying out. So it is better to follow the principle of watering thoroughly when it is dry and not watering when it is not dry. Try to control the water. It is mainly to ensure the humidity of the branches and leaves. There is no need to water it once a month. You can water it when you find that the pot soil is dry.

Generally, the seedlings of the money tree are watered once every 20 days or so . If it is an adult money tree that has just been repotted, control the water for 1 month in winter and place it in a bright, diffused light area until the leaves become soft and wrinkled. When it is not energetic, water it thoroughly once and keep it ventilated, and new branches will soon emerge.
