Cultivation method of red scale syzygium

Cultivation method of red scale syzygium

Growth habit

The red-scaled syzygium usually grows in places with lower altitudes. It has strong drought resistance and can also withstand waterlogging disasters. It is commonly found in southern shrub forests and is a tropical plant. Because of its rapid growth and deep roots, it can grow normally in harsh environments. Usually, adult plants can reach a height of more than 20 meters and can bloom and bear small fruits, which are very beautiful.

Farming methods

The planting method of red-scaled guava is not difficult. Just put the seeds directly in the soil and then spray appropriate amount of water. It takes about two months for the red-scaled sycamore seedlings to appear. It is necessary to remove the weeds next to the seedlings and apply a certain amount of nitrogen fertilizer to promote the rapid growth of the seedlings. In summer, apply a fertilizer that promotes healthy growth to the seedlings to speed up their growth. After that, you should pay attention to the winter insulation measures. You can cover and keep it warm so that it can survive the winter smoothly.

Plant management

After three to five years of planting the red-scaled syzygium, appropriate soil loosening and weeding measures should be taken according to the growth of the plants. After that, cultivate it once every six months, clean the area around it with a shovel, and remove any excess grass and shrubs. The weeds that are cleared are easy to deal with. Just place them on the land around them and loosen the surrounding soil. This way, the red-scaled guava will grow better. It also cleverly cleans up the garbage produced.
