Golden Edge Chlorophytum cultivation methods and precautions

Golden Edge Chlorophytum cultivation methods and precautions

Farming methods

Soil: Chlorophytum comosum is not picky about the soil, as long as it is fertile, loose, well-drained sandy soil.

Watering: During its growing period, the soil must be kept moist, and the watering frequency can be appropriately increased; in summer, due to the high temperature and rapid evaporation, the watering frequency should also be increased, and water should be sprayed around the plants and on the surface of the plants frequently; the watering time can be postponed during the rainy season; the amount of watering should be reduced in winter; although Chlorophytum comosum has a certain degree of drought resistance, the soil should still be kept moist for its healthier growth; special attention should be paid to the fact that water should not be accumulated at any time when watering.

Sunlight: It can grow normally as long as the light is bright, but it should also be exposed to the sun appropriately. In spring and autumn, it should avoid the midday sun. In summer, it can only be exposed to the sun in the morning or evening. It is best not to put it in the sun at other times. In winter, it can be placed in the sun all day long, which can make the color of its leaves more bright and beautiful.

Fertilization: If the fertilizer supply is insufficient, the leaves will lose their original color and the tips of the leaves will slowly turn yellow. During its growing season, it only needs to be fertilized once every two weeks.

Precautions

Temperature: As long as the temperature in winter is kept above ten degrees Celsius, you can safely spend the winter; in summer, the temperature is higher, so there is no need to worry about cooling down as long as you want to survive in a well-ventilated environment.
