How to grow potted jade plants and what to do if they get sick

1. How to raise

1. Sunlight: Usually keep it in a place like a balcony to ensure sufficient sunlight. Keeping it in a dark place without light for a long time can easily cause the branches and leaves to turn yellow, affecting normal growth. Be careful to avoid the scorching sun in summer. Avoid strong light exposure and provide appropriate shade in sunny weather. During the maintenance process, the flower pot should be turned regularly to prevent the branches and leaves from tending to the light.

2. Temperature: Jade plant grows very fast, and it grows faster within a suitable temperature range, preferably within 20-30℃. It likes warmth and cannot tolerate low temperature environment, so you should pay attention to keeping it warm in winter, move it indoors in time, and keep the room temperature at around 7-10℃.

3. Watering: Potted jade plants need more attention to watering. Water them in time during the growing period to ensure they get enough water. Water them 1-2 times a week. Reduce watering in winter and keep the soil in the pot slightly dry.

4. Fertilization: Apply fertilizer frequently during the growing period. Apply decomposed thin liquid fertilizer once or twice a month. Maintain a good concentration and never apply concentrated fertilizer.

5. Potting soil: The most important thing in potted plant maintenance is the potting soil. Pay attention to the ventilation of the flowerpot. You can choose loose and fertile sandy loam as the soil. Change the potting soil every 1-2 years.

2. What to do if a disease occurs

If you don't pay attention during maintenance, it will inevitably be infected with diseases. You must first find out the cause, then prescribe the right medicine, and pay attention to regular ventilation.
