Pailulacaria afra var.foliis-variegatis, also known as variegated silver maidenhair tree, is a variegated variant of the Portulaca tree in the genus Portulacaceae. Native to South Africa, it likes plenty of sunshine and a warm, dry environment. Its leaf shape and color are beautiful and have certain ornamental value. Potted plants can be placed next to TVs and computers to absorb radiation, or they can be planted indoors to absorb substances such as formaldehyde and purify the air.
