IntroductionEuphorbia pilosa is a vine-like, thorny plant of the Euphorbiaceae family, native to Madagascar and grown in gardens in tropical regions. It blooms in all seasons, with peak flowering in winter in the northern hemisphere. The stem is slightly climbing and branched, up to 2 meters long. There are thick gray thorns on the stem, the leaves are oval, and the old leaves fall off. The flowers are small and grow in pairs in small clusters, each cluster forming a dichotomous cyme. There are two light pink bracts on the outside and the flowers are small. The bracts are either yellow or dark red. It is also called Christ thorn, tiger thorn, Kylin flower, and tiger thorn.
