When does the coral bloom?

It takes three years for the coral to bloom after being planted or grafted. If it is propagated by seeds, it will take five years to bloom. However, if it is planted well, it will bloom earlier.

The flowering period of coral is generally in midsummer, so the flowers at that time are really beautiful and abundant.

The flowers of the coral plant are yellow, fresh and pleasant, with a faint fragrance. The flowers open their petals like a lotus and are reborn, and are yellow from the inside out.

Flowering and maintenance of coral

Lighting Management

Coral plant likes sunlight, so it needs to be given sufficient light during the growing period, especially when the flowers are blooming, because it needs to consume a lot of nutrients, so it must be placed in a well-lit place for maintenance during the flowering period.

Fertilization and watering management

Coral is a plant that is not suitable for the application of chemical fertilizers. The application of chemical fertilizers can easily cause the roots of coral to rot, so try to apply less fertilizer or no fertilizer. In spring and late summer and early autumn, you can apply decomposed drying liquid twice every half a month.

The soil in the potting pot for coral reef is suitable for drought but not moisture. If it is too wet for a long time, it will cause the roots of the plant to rot, affecting the healthy growth of the entire plant.

Be extra careful when watering and fertilizing to avoid damaging the roots of the plants, so fertilizing and watering must be done on time and in the right amount.

Proper maintenance in these aspects will be very beneficial to flowering.

Transplant management

When transplanting, it is usually done during the growth season, so be sure not to damage the rhizome to avoid affecting the blooming of flowers.

The above are the methods I know. I hope your coral will bloom soon so that I can see its beauty.
