Soil for farming

The soil requirements for the growth of taro are not high, and generally only ordinary soil is needed for cultivation.

Precautions

However, it should be noted that alkaline soil and sandy soil cannot be used to grow taro. Taro is afraid of drought and is not suitable for repeated cropping, so the previous crop should be cereals, beans, and vegetables to ensure the growth and development of taro.

Soil preparation management

Before sowing taro, you must first prepare the soil and apply farmyard manure, which will be beneficial to its growth after sowing.

Make the soil smooth and then sow the seeds.

Precautions

The soil should not be wet right away. Water it after sowing the seeds and keep it moist.

sowing

The sowing of taro is divided into two types: direct sowing and seedling transplanting, and the sowing time should be carried out in spring. You can sow in batches, once every 10 days.

Precautions

When sowing, you must ensure that the environment is warm, and cover the soil after sowing. It should be thin, and the soil should also maintain a certain humidity.

Lemongrass Care and Management

Pay attention to light. There should be sufficient light every day, but no direct sunlight. Do not water too much and avoid water accumulation to prevent seed necrosis and failure to germinate.

When applying fertilizer, apply it according to the growth of seedlings after seed germination.

Pay attention to winter maintenance and take anti-cold measures. You can put it in a lighted place. When it is very cold, you can cover the potted plants with plastic film to achieve the heat preservation effect. Wait until the temperature rises, then remove the film, ventilate and water.
