Lavender family

Lavender belongs to the angiosperms, dicots, asteraceae, lamiaceae order in the plant kingdom. Lavender is a semi-shrub or dwarf shrub.

Verbena family

Verbena is a perennial upright herb in the plant kingdom, belonging to the dicotyledonous class, zygopetalous order, Verbenaceae, Verbenoides, Verbenaceae, Verbenaceae.

Lavender's appearance

The stems of lavender grow upright and are covered with pubescence. The old branches are gray-brown with strips of peeling bark.

Lavender leaves: The leaves are linear or lanceolate-linear, with the edges curled outward and covered with gray star-shaped hairs.

Flowers: Lavender flowers are in cymes that are gathered in discontinuous inflorescences at the top of the branches. The bracts are rhombus-shaped and ovate. The flowers are purple and fragrant.

Verbena leaves: Its single leaves are opposite, oval or long oval, covered with stiff hairs on both sides, and densely covered with hairs on the veins below.

Flowers: Verbena flowers are terminal or axillary spikes, the corolla is two-lipped, and the overall flower color is blue-purple.

Lavender is native to the southern foot of the Alps on the Mediterranean coast of southern France and Italy. It is now widespread in the coastal areas of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, and is mainly produced in Xinjiang in my country.

Verbena Origin

Verbena is mainly native to Europe and often grows on roadsides, hillsides, stream sides and other places at high altitudes. It is distributed and grows in Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Jiangsu and other regions in my country.
