Flower viewing festivals across the country

January

The "China Narcissus Festival" will be held in Zhangzhou, Fujian from the 16th to the 18th; and the "Camellia Festival" will be held in Kunming, Lijiang and other places in Yunnan around the Spring Festival.

February

The "Plum Blossom Festival" in Jiangxi in mid-month; the "Orchid Expo" in Dali, Yunnan on the 17th; and the "International Plum Blossom Festival" in Nanjing on the 22nd.

March

The "Rapeseed Flower Festival" in Yunnan and Guizhou; the "International Camellia Festival" in Jinhua, Zhejiang; the "Orchid Festival" in Shaoxing; the "Tulip Festival" in Chengdu; the "Confucius Temple Flower Fair" in Nanjing; the "Peach Blossom Festival" in Shanghai, Wuxi, Chengdu, and Taoyuan, Hunan; the "Azalea Festival" in Kunming; and the "Pear Blossom Festival" in Mianzhu, Sichuan.

April

From the 19th to the 8th of May is the "Azalea Festival" in Wuxi; from the 8th to the 25th is the "Azalea Festival" in Baihuaping, Jinpo, Qianxi, Guizhou Province; in the middle and late part of the month is the "Peony Festival" in Heze, Shandong and Chaohu, Anhui; in Shunping, Hebei, Feicheng, Shandong, and Beijing are the "Peach Blossom Festival"; on the 20th is the "Pear Blossom Festival" in Laiyang, Shandong.

May

From the 1st to the 8th, there is the "Tulip Festival" in Qinghai; from the 5th to the 8th, there is the "Qionghua Festival" in Yangzhou, Jiangsu; on the 25th, there is the "Rose Festival" in Laizhou, Shandong; from May to June, there is the "Rose Festival" in Tianjin; and from the 5th to the 6th, there is the "Rose Culture Festival" in Pingyin, Shandong.

June

The "Rose Festival" in Zhengzhou and Changzhou; the "Pomegranate Flower Festival" in Zaozhuang, Shandong; the "Lotus Festival" in Wuhan, Hangzhou, Hefei, Shenzhen and Macau; and the "Guihu Lotus Exhibition and Festival" in Xindu, Sichuan from June to August.

July

"Lotus Festival" at Daming Lake in Jinan, Shandong and Baiyangdian in Hebei.

September

The second half of the month is the "Osmanthus Festival" in Shanghai (10 days); the "West Lake Osmanthus Festival" in Hangzhou; the "Osmanthus Festival" in Guilin, Guangxi; and the "Osmanthus Festival" in Linggu, Nanjing.
