Ruogeshi family breeding methods and precautions

Ruogeshi family breeding methods and precautions

Farming methods

temperature

The suitable temperature for growth is 15-25 degrees, and not lower than 5 degrees in winter. It is best to move it into a ventilated place indoors to overwinter safely.

illumination

Ruogeshi prefers a warm, dry and well-lit growing environment and is not tolerant to low temperatures.

soil

When choosing the soil matrix, the overall requirement is that it should be loose and breathable. You can use coal slag mixed with peat soil and a small amount of perlite, with a ratio of about 6:3:1, and lay river sand on the soil surface.

Watering

During the growing season, water thoroughly when the soil is dry. During the rainy season and high temperature season, water 1-2 times a week. Keep the soil in the pot dry in winter.

Fertilization

Fertilization is generally done once every two months during the growing season.

Reproduction method

Pole Insert

Ruogeshi is mainly propagated by cuttings. Select neater branches and leaves and insert them into a sand pot. It will take about 20-25 days for roots to grow. When the roots are 3 cm long, they can be potted and the survival rate is very high.

Division

Division is another method of propagating Rakuten. The clumping Rakuten is separated from the mother plant and transplanted into another container. The survival rate of division is very high.

Precautions

illumination

Don’t forget to let the Rakuten bask in the sun at any time. Only when there is sufficient light will the edges of the Rakuten leaves turn red! Otherwise, the flowers will grow too tall if they sing poems.

Watering

Be careful not to water the leaves of Ruogeshi when watering. If you water the leaves, after the water droplets dry, they will leave spots on the Ruogeshi!

container

Ruogeshi grows very fast, so remember to choose a larger flower pot~ or change the flower pot for Ruogeshi in time~
